I'm sure it isn't my place to speak here as I'm so new to BFT, but I'm an old hand at online community.   I can see by all the comments here that the Executive decision is sourcing from clan protocol, nothing more than that.

There's no animosity toward you or your group, no one trash talks you in the TS and I've heard no bad word about you.   In any serious or long-living clan Ive been in there is a simple (some say cold) protocol for handling a situation where members leave in a group, and that is to ban the leaders of that group from the TS to prevent any inner-clan recruiting. The other demographic member that gets banned from TS are the members that seemed like such a good fit! The ones you never could have guessed would leave, the ones everyone liked.   Know why?   Because their reasons for leaving will poison the minds of the ones that stayed and cause confusion and misguided loyalty.

It's just a cold policy and isn't personal.   It's done to protect the longevity of the clan.

Leaving in groups and recruiting from the old clan to populate the new clan are the two biggest nemesis of clan longevity, and you have obviously fallen into one of the two groups.   No more and no less.

Don't worry about BFT dying...it's been up for 10 years, the Execs know exactly what they want and need from the club and are not afraid to get it done.   After gaming for 20 years I can give an educated opinion and Im saying BFT will outlive us all.

If you don't see alot of BFT mobbin around in all the games it's because active membership is low...a hurdle that is bound to be encountered every now and then when you recruit for QUALITY rather than QUANTITY.

It sounds like you'll do well wherever you go from here.   I hope you've taken a lesson in "community" from this experience and you can positively impact the larger gaming community with it.

OK, I and only I made the decision. Why?? because I remember you in the clan before and yes although you say I don't like you the reality is you caused trouble which you seem to conveniently want to ignore and personally forget. I got tired of hearing it. Do I not like you? I don't like that you left just as I miss anyone who leaves that I enjoyed and had fun with. Is this gonna kill the clan?? No, Spaz has it right when he says clans go through busy and dead times and right now it is dead for a variety of reasons I am not going to go through. And I hate to tell you folks but it is not as dead as you think. We have divisions that don't show as visible as others such as L4D2 which has 63 active playing running around members who do not like to use TS or steam. And a couple of others who do the same. Bottom line you asked, we gave answer, was no need for more talk, again causing trouble instead of letting it go. You have 15 members in new clan and it is very new so to give me your worldly views, at least come up with something I can use that is new and innovative. Gaming is gaming, people come and go. The thing any clan must look for is the positivity in what they do, how they do it and why do they do it. IS EGO involved? or is it to provide a place for fun? With this said and I loved what you said Spaz. I made my decision for exactly the reason of what you said in here. You are not in clan so why are you even talking about BFT?? It is not your concern nor will it ever be again. DO I like you or not?? Really didn't give it much thought to tell the truth, couldn't be bothered cause I look for positive and I don't see that in you. So with that please go be healthy and happy with new 15 man or so clan and enjoy, no hard feelings or voodoo curses. But leave us alone as we leave you alone. Try to be positive if you post here or that privilege will be revoked. You have been negative enough for us. And there is official policy on this, it is no secret but of course you never asked, just talk to people behind my back which again is super negative way of undermining. But there is policy and has been there for years. Now, last tiem, go play enjoy and leave BFT alone.

And one last thing I will add is you guys left for admin abuse, BUT, no one ever came to talk to me, so you took things in own hand and that's fine, this is America, go where you wanna go and do what you wanna do, BUT, never came to talk to me which would have been decent thing to do so to come back to make statements like this is only showing the negativity that you took with you and you can have it, this forum post is now locked.
